Hi, and welcome to my website, guiding you through the tastes and flavours, history and culture of the fabulous Quercy.
This is an ancient region of South West France, where troglodyte caves stand side by side with medieval hilltop villages. It's a beautiful region, watered by the stunning river Lot, the lovely Dordogne and the gentle Célé. But most of all it's a region renowned for its gastronomy. The famed black wines of Cahors, older than Bordeaux, and once drunk at the finest dining tables in the world. Truffles and foie gras, walnuts and wonderful Rocamadour goat's cheese, these are just a few of the local specialities. So pour yourself a glass of wine, sit back and take a leisurely look at my articles, I'll tell you lots more. Subscribe to the FREE Quercy Diary and receive a monthly email newsletter.
And watch out for my new book - WHITE STONE BLACK WINE.
